Hey all! Update Hey there all you die hard forum junkies! I read over my divorced decree today and it actually all looks pretty good. I'm still not thrilled about the divorce, but at least it seems like the majority of the bickering and nastiness is moving to the past. Thank God! My ex (or STBX) is in the police academy and last week invited me to take the to his graduation in October. His parents will be in town so I offered to let them take the , but he said no, he'd like me to be there. I'm appreciative, and will go, but I'm suspect. He was an ass for a long time. But, as they say, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Funny thing happened, though. We had a minor emergency with one of my dogs while I was working so he came by to help the out with it, no bitching or complaining involved. The next day I took the Tubing with a group of people, the dog was still not himself, so I texted and asked if he would stop by and check on him during the day. He said he would, no problem, but asked where I was. I said tubing (his response to this was "must be nice") and I'd when we got off the river. Which I did, but he didn't answer. No response to a text, either. When we got home my son checked his cell and Dad had ed 6 times! He ed him back and Dad said he was worried because I was at the river and he didn't know where the were. I ed (he answered this time) and told him he should have just ed my cell and I'd have let him talk to the . He said he didn't know they were with me, but our son explained it all. Then he was all nice. I think he thought I was off playing with god only knows who and ditched the to go have fun. Just like he's been doing for almost a year. Not so fun I guess when the shoe's on the other foot! I'm not nasty and vindictive, but it sure was kinda nice to see him get irritated for once.

its an option...had an outing w/ him and the boys this sat and it was nice...we've exchanged a handful of emails and texts....but just civil conversation...no talk of gettin back together....just friends

Hmmmm this is true. Maybe I should work a little harder and at least go for a celebratory post-divorce hook up with the ex! It's been a LONG LONG time! He might be an ass but hey, I don't need to TALK to him, right?

What I noticed from my break up is that if you are accused of something, it's him that is actually guilty of it. It took me a year to figure out where his weird accusations were coming from.
