Complex... depressed? So I think I've always known it and haven't been able to explain it to myself. For some reason, I took this quiz and psych central. Their criteria is as follows: S C O R E S If you scored... You may have... x & up Severe depression x - x Moderate/severe depression x - x Mild to moderate depression x - x Borderline depression x - x Possible mild depression x - x No depression likely Anyway, so I take it and here's what I got: You scored a total of x Which sounds bad. Awful, actually. Then, the little disclaimer at the bottom says "This is not meant as a diagnosis tool." How accurate are these things? I do feel crappy often, but also often try to pick myself up. I don't know how "normal" anyone can be, and I don't know that happiness has anything to do with being normal. I would hate to depend on antidepressants. I've never heard anything positive about them. I worry that maybe one day my 'severe' depression will catch up to me and bite me on the ass. Maybe this is why I've had so many issues with my SO this entire year. Thoughts, suggestions, experiences?
