yes & some of them still mutilate their virgin bride's genitals before marriage. Sounds pleasant, huh? If a woman is raped, she will be stoned to death by her relatives to avenge their honor. I don't think anything happens to the rapist, because the woman is always in the wrong and she lead him on. If a woman is found to use birth control she is also put to death. Like I said, glad to live in US.

Cultural It is not ed for by Islam. The article notes that this will apply to the Shiites in the country, but not the Sunnis.

It was an old Law in the United States..... Until 1976, marital rape was legal in every state in the United States. Although marital rape is now a crime in all 50 states in the U.S., some states still don't consider it as serious as other forms of rape. The only states that have laws that make no distinction between marital rape and stranger rape are Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia. These states have no marital rape exemptions.

not sure which is more appalling the idea that the wife has to give it up every four days, or that the husband only has to give it up every four months! WTF?!?

I saw that & it was probably written so that if the man had x wives he didn't have to "service" the older one too often. The wording was also "should" not "bound" like for the woman.

What does all this have to do with LTR?
