It was your post below that made me ask the question. I sometime feel really out of touch here on this board. I have been married most of my adult life to a man I truly love. I have had the same best friend from before I got married and had a child. Before she had children and got married (she did it backwards from me) yet we are still friends. So when I read "Realize that most friendships aren't for life, even "best" friends. Friendships develop through mutual interests, activities, lifestyle, etc. When there's one or more major lifestyle changes (a baby, distant move, marriage or divorce, etc.) those friendships often fizzle. It's NATURAL" I want to know if I am really odd.
